🔹 Traditional bakeries: number (1) in the Aghezdis neighbourhood.

COFFEE SHOPS

🔹 Numerous.
🔹 Often converted garages.
🔹 Choice between mint tea, coffee and a few drinks. That's all!
🔹 Exclusively local male clientele.
🔹 Cafés where friends can meet up and play cards.
🔹 In my opinion, the café with the best view was called ‘Café Maure’. It had a large terrace overlooking the city of Fez and the Plain of Sais. Nowadays, it is indeed dead!

SOUK

🔹 Weekly (on Wednesdays).
🔹 Mainly for fruit and vegetables.
🔹 Butcher's and Fishmonger's.
🔹 Kitchenware, spices, clothing, etc.

PETROL STATION

🔹 At the entrance to Bhalil (with café and terrace).

TOURISM

🔹 Little or no development.
🔹 A few guest houses.
🔹 Craftsmanship (silk buttons for traditional clothing).
🔹 No hotels.
🔹 No proper restaurants. But there is a Sunrise fast food restaurant at the entrance to the village.
🔹 No cafés for tourists. Sometimes tourists at Sunrise.
🔹 No museum. But Ali Baba's private ‘museum’ (antique objects and items).
🔹 No tourist office.
🔹 A guide for tourists.

MISCELLANEOUS

🔹 Various structures are also present in Bhalil. Examples:
🔹 Associations.
🔹 Shelter for young people in need (Khiriya).
🔹 Cooperatives.
🔹 Photographers (2).
🔹 Internet cafés
🔹 Car hire agency. Etc.
